I wouldn't register with godaddy if they paid me 6.95.

As far as new domain rego goes imho GoDaddy is not all that bad. Always have some discounts on and heaps of coupons for any domain needs.

But hosting etc is (most of the time) another story altogether.

Why don't you like Godaddy? Is there something I'm missing? I find their customer support excellent.

I think they have great customer support, I have 99% of my domains registered with them not a single problem.

Yeh I am wodnering the same thing I have a hosting account there atm and a couple domains and I have never had a problem besides the fact that they send boatloads of emails and Im too lazy to take myself off the list.
