I'm not sure how Hershon arrives at his diagnosis, but you might like to consider a number of other resources for domain name appraisal and valuing before you make a development decision (here's a link to Directory of Domain Name Marketplaces). Ultimately, if you intend to develop a site based on that name, your development effort will be key in the value for the name. In other words, if you have great traffic and awareness, then the name will become valuable for resale.

If so, it's worth the difference.

There is nothing particularly enhancing about the name. Yes if you actually develop a site with great content you'll probably eventually draw traffic but it won't be because of or in spite of the name. It's nothing personal, a generic bland unimaginative name that will neither hurt traffic or bring it in. I guess the more exciting,lol Planet, Universe, Zone, etc. endings were taken?

Thanks... It's a confirmation that this topic is really hot and worth to proceed further. You also did your homework, didn't you? Hopefully you grab some good combinations also.
The zone ending is really good, never thought about that.

If judging the name simply from words count, the following one word below consist a lot of characters and really hard to remember. (note: I search a lot of words close to mesosomething finally the result came from terms meso cancer )

mesothelioma (1 word, 12 chars) vs daytradeworld (3 words, 13 chars)

• Day Trade is a global activity, lots of people involve or make a living in this general activity for stock market, futures, forex, etc.
• Huge result of keyword day trade from major Search Engine (Google, Yahoo, Live/MSN) to confirm the popularity of this activity.
• Based on opinions from experts like you, I summarize that it's better to create value & quality for the site. The revenue will come naturally. After that, when a decision should come to sell the site, sky is the limit.
• (From what I heard) Financial sector has high paying ads. Useful to cover the domain & hosting costs.
• For almost a month since registered, I monitor the logs of my site daytradeworld (.com .net .org) and the result is not bad.
  Just only one landing page for each TLD, the daily total unique visitors range between 75 and 100. Most of them from Google SERP.

Well... It's time to bust my a$$ to plan and develop this name.
