Hi, i hope this isnt in the wrong forum.

Basically my site has a flash header on index.html and the content is stored in a frame (had to be done due to the loading sequence of the flash header). But whenever somebody clicks a direct link from yahoo for example to a certain page (i.e. www.mydomain.com/aboutus.php) the header is not displayed. So my question is as follows...

Is there a way to re-direct all traffic thats not coming through the main domain to the main domain.

ooof....even i dont understand my explination...ill try with some more examples...

i need redirects as follows:

mydomain.com/aboutus.php ----> mydomain.com
mydomain.com/view.php ----> mydomain.com
...etc etc...

i cant do them all manually as i have dynamically created pages so theres pages like mydomain.com/view.php%3fjob_id=43

is there something like a wildcard i could use when setting up a redirect?

any ideas?

I think that the best is 301 redirect (redirect on server side)

You have to use mod_rewrite to re-write your dynamic URLs, than you can 301 redirect them.

silly question time ... why not create a header.php file with your flash in ... then
Code:
<?php include("header.php"); ?>
at the top of each php file?

or am I reading the question wrong? (wouldn't be the frist time)
