Hi, I have a couple of websites that are still online but I have no access to the domain names because they expired. What's up with that? I am a domain newbie.

What do you mean by "access to the domain names"? Do you mean in your registrar's control panel?

Nto sure if this is what you're after, but domain names continue working 20-30 days after they "expire", depending on your registrar. It's not until day 31 that the registrar will then put it on "delete pending" mode and 5-7 days later it'll be deleted completely.

The domains have been expired for more 31 days and the registrars are GoDaddy and NameCheap. Still when I access the site it is live. :S

maybe someone else bought them ?
