no i havnt, but it seems kinda sketchy. the whole idea is that you make money with the domain and the content, but if you lease it from someone who isnt a registar then they can pull it anytime for no reason. in this pull they can add a LOAD of ads to the site and make $xxx or more with it, not to mention the PR that it has gotten on google aswell.

I leased a url to a company that used it for 2 years for a infomercial they ran on late night tv... it was a url that i wasnt using and they paid 500.00 a month to lease it.

Thats a pretty good deal. I've never done this but I would say its worth it if you can get a deal as good as kriscad got.

A guy wanted to lease a typo domain from me once, probably because if a C&D order was sent, I'd be the one getting screwed...not him. I turned him down and sold it for cash. If you're leasing from someone else in a case like that, it could work out very well for you. Another good reason to do it could be if the domain has type-in traffic for a product/service/topic that is hot right now, but you think may cool off significantly in the coming months or years.
