I'm new to the whole domaining thing but I stumbled across two .info's which I bought last week:

OvercomingAnxiety.info
IrritableBowelTreatment.info

Are info's worth anything?

The short answer is no.

It may be good because those keywords would be hard to find in a .com or .net. However I have been told that Google doesn't trust .infos because of their heavy use for spam. So you may have a disadvantage right from the begining. But hey, if you already have them write some articles and put some ads on and try to build links for those keywords and see what happens.

At least with IrritableBowelTreatment.info you only have a little over 1000 competing pages on yahoo. though the searches are pretty thin, 95 a month for that specific term, more if you use "irritable bowel syndrome treatment". and clicks can get as much as $2.85 with the right keywords.

Develop the sucker, get some backlinks and traffic and let me know how it tuens out. Dot info's are what, $3 a year if that. Make more than 25 cents a month from adsense alone and you'll be profitable.
