From my opinion , .tv it is not worth at this moment .
We all know that .tv the price is more expensive more the common domains, and it is not very popular more others.
May be in the futrue days the worth will be add, when the other domains key word have been registed.

I think its obvious that the "value" is because it is TV which everyone immediatly thinks television instead of the name of a small island...

its just because people with sites which are tv/media related like having a small snappy content related name which has given registrars the incentive to bump up the price
