Somebody knows if it's posible to register a .in domain if I live out of India?

i think its freely available to anyone, as i have seen few people from uk registering .in domains few months back when there was a .in sale in my reseller club domain register

Yo do not need to have business in India. I have googled for the .in domain name registration. Most of US located web hosting companies offer .in registration. I have seen it on Hqhost.net web site
They might be Directi resellers but if they offer that it must be legal and available for registration for non India residents.

It should have been available to the place to which it belongs. But every indian extension like .co.in, .in, .ind.in etc. are available worldwide!

Dot IN CAN be registered by any one cause ~ .IN can imply several things apart from INdia (like INternet, INternational, INcorporated etc.)

In that is pronoun I suppose that is the main usage for this domain name extension
