Hi folks,
Christmastoysearch.com
Chocolatesoflove.com
Easygiftsearch.com
Globalwarmingstopshere.com
How are they? Would you want to visit/remember them? Appraisals would be greatly appriciated.
Thanks

Developed they could be worth money, but no traffic, just registration fee.

I like the last one. And it's pretty easy to remember. The others... meh. I would probably forget them in a week or so.

OP - I think the domains could do well as developed properties. Just for the domains, they are only worth the registration fee. I think the last domain has some potential for development, though, and I would urge you to go ahead and start up with that one.

Thanks guys, actually I'm not planning on just selling them, I want to develop these websites myself. And I was actually thinking of starting with the global warming first as well, good to see that move validated.
Now what about traffic? Lpspider mentioned that there might be a problem with that, would these websites not show up well on search engines?
Also I just bought Nycvistas.com--how's this one?

That's up to you and how you promote them (or not)
Absolutely NOTHING to do with the hostname.

Really? I knew it had to do with search engine optimization on my part but I thought the words in the domain names also had something to do with it.

I think NYCVistas is ok, depending on what you do with it. I really think you ought to start developing these sites, though. Then you can see what kind of return you're getting on your investment. You're not going to get any results without putting some hard work into them.

That's for sure, I'm not going buy anymore for the moment and I'll start as soon as I learn a bit more of dreamweaver.

A popular misconception, but the domain name is part of your branding and marketing strategy, therefore is a business decision NOT a SEO one.

Eeek 3 word domains are not the best.. Do you plan to develop or try to out right sell?? I would attempt to develop them first.

For me, Easygiftsearch.com is the best in the list. You can developed it into gift related search to eBay or Amazon product if your direction is to simple web front.

Well, as they stand, they are worth what you paid for them, however developed they can be very profitable, put some time into them and you should be fine.

At first glance, I was reading Globalwarmingstopshere.com wrong, like you were saying something about Global Warming and the atmosphere. Long URLs are nice but they can get confusing.
Either way, just have fun with them. As many said, all you've lost so far is the registration fee. Build your properties and see what happens.

There is no harm in experimenting with your domains and seeing what you can do with them. Sometimes it can even be fun if you can turn a profit
