Redirect is the best way. Would you have have to do a 404 redirect too? Or would just one direct cover everything? Not sure.

why would visitors to your adult link want to be redirected to a article submit site? Seems an odd way to gain traffic. Why not populate the adult site with adult content and place an ad to your artice url.
