I like godaddy. They are a great for domains. Iffy as a webhost but cheap for everything.

Go with godaddy. Do a search for godaddy coupons, you can get a discount that way..

I would advise against GoDaddy. I think their interface is incredibly NON-user friendly. And they hit you up with so many additional offers that check-out is a bear! I also think their prices tend to be higher than other places, but they do have the name recognition ... for whatever that's worth.

It depends on the TLD (extension) of the domain you want.

However remember that (for example) the actual *cost* of a .com (to a registrar) is $6.40 (plus $0.25 ICANN fee), hence anyone offering you a .com for under $7.00 might be a bit doubt-worthy.
