What do you, community, think if I reg a domain with non-ICANN-accredited company (sharkspace.com)?
Is it wise and how will it influence the domain name itself?

it won't, but if you have a problem with a domain (I had a registrar stealing domains by moifying the registrant of domains I had managed through him), you won't be able to call Icann to get it back.

It has to a link with the security of your investment, not the promotion side.
And by the way, if a registrar stole your domain, you cannot access it anymore, you cannot update it, and you cannot put it on another server (you are not the owner of the domain anymore), so you loose everything you built.

So, think twice before you do that.

They must be resellers. And the father company of them is ICCANN accredited otherwise they can't provide the service technically.

To OP, I think if the company (we are talking about sharkspace.com) is reliable and stable and has many positive feedbacks on the forums, you may reg your domains with them with no fair of losing it.
That's my standpoint.

I have seen the offers from sharkspace.com and dare say that this company provides them at affordable rate. They are not ICANN-accredited but I see nothing bad in that.

I don't see the negative side of registering domain name with non-accredited registrar. I believe it will be more productive to buy any hosting plan at Marblehost.com and register free domain name for life. The thing is that you need to look at the quality of good hosting service and especially customer support and some discounts respectively. So I think it will be suitable company.

i think you had better choose ICANN-accredited company, such as godaddy, enom, onlinenic, networksolution. You could count on them instead of submit your issue to the reseller's corresponsing registrar. Troublesome, right?

We work under the lisence of an icann acredited registrar.
We have signed to some rules we have to obey.
We can help our customers professional and fast and in many cases (99%) we can solve problems ourself.
The domains that are registered with us, are legal property of the registrand.
If a client decide that he want to move his domain to a different registrar, he is free to do so.
The epp key (needed to transfer the domain) is ALWAYS vissible in the clients account. The contact fields can be updated by the client.
As mentioned above: there are bad company's that are indeed stealing domains. Therefore you must always be careful where to register your domains.
Try always to find some feedback about the company (google / forums etc).
The site itself says nothing about a good / bad company.
There are many non-acredited registrars. 99% of them are just fine.
This looks like a ad for our company but this gives you some information how we work.

I shall prefer dealing with accredited registrars - eurodns, godaddy, enom...etc. Sometimes hosts do not allow transfering the domains.

Never put all eggs to one basket...

As far as the domain is booked in your name, and your e-mail address is shwoing as Registrant of the domain, there is no problem. You are free to move your domain to anywhere you want, in case you dont like the current domain registrar.

For sure, not accredited registration is performed by resellers, and sometimes resellers do not tell you, that you are unable to tranfer or sell the domain you have registered...

I'd rather prefer service from accredited registrars, like GoDaddy, EuroDNS, or Directi...or anyone else who is accredited by ICANN or any other corp for names and numbers.

They will never tell you. They will try to hide that as long as possible. Because that do not attract.
