I am on the verge of selling one of my domains:
fantasyfootballguru.co.uk

It is PR4 and visitor stats are:
2008: 40,000+ visitors, 150,000+ Pageviews
Oct: 1,800+ visitors, 4,500+ Pageviews
Sept:3,600+ Visitors, 11,000+ Pageviews

How much do you think this domain is worth?

Any help is appreciated!

Valuing a website is pretty much the same as any other business 1.5 to 2.5 times the earnings.

page views, member counts, visitor numbers are of no use at all unless they take some action that actually earns something.

So unless you are going to disclose the accounts for the site, any one giving you a definitive value based on the above information is either a fool or a liar.

And, Yes. I do realise there are plenty of stupid tools that give a "guesstimate" based on imaginary numbers such as Alexa rank and toolbar PR, but anybody dumb enough to part with real money based on this deserves everything they don't get.

To do a test run on what the market will bear, sign up for Afternic.com and put a site up for auction. They normally won't allow you to place it for over $10,000 in their expanded program. So, it gives you an unofficial domain name appraisal. Of course, they, and all the other domain name re-sale sites offer appraisals for around $25 or so, which you can get a certified appraisal to give you a concrete idea of what your name(s) is/are worth.

I personally think, you'll be able to sell your domain to a price nearer to your estimate of what it's worth to close friends and relatives who knew firsthand of your dedication and hard work. Of course, these two qualities will get included as a package deal.
