Hi guys, long time reader, however first domain im trying to sell!

I have had it listed in sitepoint, sedo, forums etc, however i cant seem to shift this domain at all and im wondering if there are any tips people can offer!

The domain is sourcefreelance.com

It is perfect for that genre however we had to stop the project as our investment fell through so domain is being auctioned!

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

And how may i stumble upon these potential buyers?

Search for similar type of businesses and compile a list of them. Write them a email and inform them that you are selling this domain on Sedo. When you put some domain on sell you are hoping that interested people will know about the fact that this domain is selling now, but they don't.

Add Parked.com and Imodo and place offers there also. They become quite active last time

Nowhere on parked.com does it say anything about domain sales. I think they are a parking only service. imodo is nothing but a parking service that states your domain is for sale. They then transfer the potential buyers information to you. Not a marketplace.

You're absolutely right, im not interested in haveing the domain parked or even earning from a parked domain, to be honest i get annoyed when i visit a domain and its parked, its a lazy way of making money.

Im trying to sell this domain to someone who can actually do it justice, its an amazing offer once the investment is there.

The other suggestions of contacting the potential buyers via a list is a great idea and thank you! More suggestions is much appreciated as i think there is not enough material available on how to effectively sell domains!

Well i think your best bet is to post it on the major marketplaces, use forums like dnforum.com, and contact potential buyers.
