I agree with the above reply. There are from what I have read so far, only a few basic categories to consider when evaluating the value of a domain.
There are more than just these two but heres a start.
Domain Relevance - to what degree do the keywords that make up the domain discribe the content of the site. For example, for two sites that sell technical equipment, "techgear.com" is better than "firefly.com"
Domain Length - Just like it sounds. How long is it? How many characters will people looking for your site have to type in to get to it? For example, "besthost.com" is better than "mostvaluablehost.com". This is where the domains you listed loose their value; they are just really long.
