I have a domain with one registrar and hosting with another how to i go about using that domain with my hosting

You simply set the nameservers where it is regged to the nameservers provided where you host. So make it harder than others. If you have any problems transfer it to godaddy with a year of added time for $6.99 and the process will be real simple.

On domain name registrar - point nameservers to yor web hosting
On your web host: add domain name. That is the way to stick them with each other.

just find the nameservers from the web hosting account and find the place to add these nameservers in the registrar account somewhere. if is goddady drop me a message and I will guide you.is very easy
