My domain is a .info and for this reason it doesn't seem to rank for the url which is Isle-of-wight-hotels. Can anybody give advice on how to get better results, is it just a case of more work required than if I had Isle of Wight Hotels with a .com or .co.uk? Any help would really help, cheers.

Maybe people will start seeing that the domain name is NOT a vital factor for search engines.

Totally agree with ServerPoint ......Low ranks are not based on the 'TLD' rather optimizing a website just primarily involves editing its content and HTML tags /coding to increase its relevance to specific keywords...
