access to my website is only possible when the www is left out of the address when trying to access, if that is entered a 404 error is encountered, any ideas as to why?

i got the domain through google and i am using their stuff to host email and company page and have set it up to use snap pages as creator and host? for my website. all that works great. snap pages had me adjust by A name record to point to their IP address and so i did that. so how do i now get it to work so people can get to the site and still put in the www (its hard to get people to understand that they dont put in the www, it seems to be ingrained in the way the internet is)

No hostheader/VirtualHost for the www is the usual cause.

This is usually dealt with automatically by your hosting service. Did you setup a DNS network address (A) record from both www.domain.name and domain.name?

make few lines in the .htaccess file and you will have the issue done.

It happens during the wordpress settings if you installed wordpress and using it, then it is not a big issue, just go to your admin panel and then go to settings and you will easily see the matter (only incase of using wordpress)
