I have one site. Around 5 years old. Before few months i get redesign my site and redirected my original domain.

for example: the old domain was like www.xyz.com and redirected current domain is www.xyz.com/directoryname/index.php.

now i wan to be visible on www.xyz.com rather than this redirected url "www.xyz.com/directoryname/index.php"

does it affects my google site ranking as well as google search result ranking?

what do i do? i dont want redirection anymore. I want to show my site on its original domain name.

I believe that should improve all your seo efoforts instead, because that is 90% redirect is used for

301 redirect. If you chose that one be sure all your SEO efforts will be redirected

And as shorter the name you have as better for you
