Looking to switch registrar, and why web.com sucks

I use web.com to register my domains for 5 years now, but I badly want to switch to another registrar.

Why they suck:
  • If I want to register more than one domain at a time I must call them, can't do it online.
  • If I bought the domain with perfect privacy I have to call them to change the DNS, can't do it online (not sure if this is the same for other registrars)
  • crazy slow website, takes a long time to navigate around when pages take so long to load.
  • After every single domain I register they have to call me, usually around 8am to confirm the last 4 digits of my credit card. Why the hell even register online if I have to confirm it over the phone?
Anyway, I'd like to find an easy to use registrar to manage all my domains, hopefully without any of the problems I had with web.com. I was looking at yahoo, and godaddy. If anyone has some suggestions I'd appreciate it. I'm located in the usa and would like to keep my domain service here as well. just for phone support reasons. Thanks.

GoDaddy has a great admin control panel and is easy to use and cheap. We have about 3,000 names with them and they give us a dedicated person to help with any issues. I think you only need about 100 to get someone. Their rates are good and my only issue with them is that they started charging for privacy.

I have a couple with godaddy but the bulk of my sites (and all new ones I buy) I get via namecheap - they can do all of the things your current service provider can't do online e.g. change dns, buy more than one domain etc. Price wise they are reasonable and the after service in terms of reminder emails is great. All queries answered very fast as well. DNS fully resolved in less than 24 hours of purchase. No affiliate link! I just like their service and easy to use interface. Once registered you can be buying a domain within less than 30 secs from start to finish!
Cheers
Dickie

I've been searching around it it seems there aren't too many trust worthy registrars that have it all. I'm interested in Godaddy and namecheap. However I haven't heard much about namecheap, so if anyone else has some reviews or opinions about that, that'd be great.
