well i am new here and firstly i want to say that its a nice forum. I liked it very much.

Currently I am making a blog and its almost completed. Now m planing to buy a domain for it. If i buy a domain then how can i use it? should i just redirect it to my blog only? or there are other thing that i can do with the domain, like i can host it or anything?

Why don't you want to redirect your domain name (old one) to the new one. If yoiu will redirect new domain name to the blog what is the ides of it's registration then?

You'll have the options do configure DNS settings on the registrar's website, as soon as you order your domain.

can we configure dns for subdomains also?

that probably depends on your hosting.

Have you seen Mat Cutt's blog? As you can see, its url was www.mattcutt.com/blog. Why? He made it like that so that if ever he want something to add up with his domain, it still generally about Matt Cutt; not his blog or whatsoever.
