Well Im getting lots of traffic (and offers) on most of my 3D names, 3DPlayers.com gets 140 u/v a day at the moment...Im loving it
how do you think they are going to sell all these 3D products, I believe it will be online like most other electronic stuff
Have a read of the 3D thread on namepros and DNFOrum and you will see all the articles on it

Well if 3d is a fad then I have found a nice niche untapped market, "ThaiGirlsKnickers" the thread has had over 160,000 views, more than 1,000 posts, so get in there quick and order those domains now.
PS: I have photos for sale at very reasonable rates...

i don't want to see 3d films or tv all the time, just for fun at the cinema once in a while...alice in wonderland was not as good as avatar, so 3d is not gonna be good unless done properly. It costs money to do it properly. James Cameron knows that.

Hey guys
Im not talking about the number of posts lol..I mean read the articles
How can it be a fad with LG, Samsung, Sony and Panasonic pushing the technology, and all the hollywood studios jumping on board
ESPN, Sony, DirectV, SKY, Foxtel have all got 3D CHannels coming out this year, and there will be a lot more
Its not James Cameron who is paying, its the companies mentioned above.
I truly think that if you put an hour or 2 in researching 3D on Google you will see this is not a fad.
3DTv's, All Dreamworks Movies now to be in 3D,
Live Broadcasts of the Largest Sporting Events (Soccer World Cup is already scheduled)
FIFA.com - 2010 FIFA World Cup to pioneer 3D technology
Live 3D Concerts have already started just previous to the opening of Avatar,
(U2, hannah Montana, Jonas Brothers, DisneyLand just announced they are bringing back the old Michael Jackson 3D viewing experience at their parks)
Someone likes the idea

I agree, I dont like the idea of watching 3D at home, but the millions of people do, I prefer going to the cinema to watch them

Update: Almost 8 months later.
For whatever it is worth, the forum I referenced in a previous thread pumping the 3D domain craze is now at 130 pages, 2592 posts, and 77435 views.
Thanks, but no thanks, I don't want any 3D fad domains.

I have had many low xxx up high x,xxx on my 3D domains so whether its a fad or not, there is good money to be made in these names, if you check the 3D threads and the auctions results (Afternic, Sedo etc) you will see how the sales are increasing, and these are just the reported sales (I know of a 25K offer on a 3D name as well that was rejected)

no way, you'd be a fool to sell decent exact product 3D domains now, the market is only just picking up and most of the product-related names I own have only just been launched. I will hold until the big offer comes along
Good luck to everyone in 2011

I'm not sure what the effectiveness of touch 3d would be..
3d is only good for 2 things, adult stuff and games, that's pretty much it. touchscreens are 2d, you touch a flat screen and thereby flatten the 3d environment. Becaause your eyes are trying to make the images look 3d, but your hands are telling you it's 2D

Thanks, appreciate your comments
There are plenty of 3D touch products coming out, so it will be worth something in the future

I agree with you that gaming and adult will lead the 3D technology, as well as sport imo, however my product related names are receiving the most offers out of all of my names, in particular these below, mainly because Samsung, LG, Sony and Panasonic have just released these products
3DPlayers.com
3DRecorder.com
3DRecorders.com
3DHomeCinemas.com
3DHomeProjector.com
3DChannel.com has received the best offers by a long way for obvious reasons
Good luck to you all in 2011

I think 3D domain is a great revolution.Although the benefits of 3D is not so obvious, but the prospect of it must be vast.
But seems recently there aren't many peopel interested in 3D domain,it's still need time for people to widely accept it.
