First of all I'd like to apologize if I'm in the wrong forum 
Second - a little explanation of my situation. I'm running my own web server with Debian Lenny. I'm using it to host my clients' web sites - I'm a web developer. But their number is increasing and some of them started asking me about emails on their domain names, etc. Two months ago I've installed Webmin + Virtualmin and now I could easily configure all that stuff, but after the migration (without reinstalling OS, only distantly via SSH), some features like the emails are not working well. That's why I decided to install a fresh Linux system and a new hosting control panel - maybe DirectAdmin.
So, if I'm going to invest money for a control panel, I would like to run my own name server and use it in my clients' domains' settings, so finally I could set up all the subdomains on my own system, without using free DNS hosting as I'm currently doing.
Sorry again for my newbieness (is there such a word, hahah), and I'll be happy to receive some advices. |
