I'm searching for a way to find and purchase expired domain names - ones that have a specific keyword in them, pr and if possible - incoming links.

I'm looking for a recommendation of which tools are you using for it.

so you're basically self-promoting your site rather than ask for help.

I think godaddy offers a good huge list of expired domains for buying but the problem remains in prices !

Its tough to find expired domains with good pagerank and traffic.. and also they generally for auction

i use name.com to search expired and deleted domain names http://www.name.com/expired_domains.php

I believe that is what all cybersquatters do. They earn for a living in the such way and I do not believe that is easy.

What would would you do if there bad SEO history with domain name. I suppose that is not good idea to buy domain names for this purpose.

It is a good measure, an expired used domain name has accumulated traffic before. But it is expensive, most importantly, many names are not better.

I think Go Daddy will have what you want. But it might be expensive fro you to get such kind of domains.

Many of the popular domain registers have a expired or for sale section. Sometimes you can find a good deal. Some have pagerank already. A good idea to make sure they are not banned or penalized by google first though.

I use premium drops, i am a member there so if you have a domain name you are looking for i could see what is available to register if you want?

And register that domain name beforehand

It checks for expired domains and also displays the Pagerank. Hope it helps.

I think the best way is to find what domain you want first and then get more info on it via whois and then wait until it expires then register it.

That is my method approach but it requires a lot more patience.

Just do not be naive. Good domain names which are about to expire are followed the army of domainers.

i used to download a list of the deleted domains in .txt format here:

now their service has stopped, i'm in search for a new site where its possible to download a list of those deleted domains (or pending delete within the next 1-2 days).

there are lot of site which provide this services and you can subscribe to their feed just search for expired domain list
