Hi, I would much appreciate your suggestions.

We run a graphic designing company named MLIG - My Logo Is Great. The official site is found at www.mylogo.isgreat.org. It was a sub-domain and was pretty nice to start with. Now with our growing community and expectations from clientele its time to shift to something permanent and more dedicated.

I am glad to let you know, we have already secured 3 really exciting domain names! At the moment we have stuck with the top 2.

1. www.mlig.org
2. www.mylogoisgreat.com

Well, both have pros (and cons?)
1st one is perfect for branding and easy to type (for direct visits).
2nd one is keyword rich and a "precious" .com domain.

Which one would you vote for?

#1 is short. I believe it is better

1/ is the business name USE IT!!


2/ would be ok if your target demographic is the six to twelve year old age group!

Both domains are not good imo....

#1 is short but its a .org
#2 is .com but its too long

If I have to choose either of the two, I'll go for #1 b/c its short

As a SEO point of view 2nd one is better and normally 1st one is better.

My vote goes for the domain name #1.
Short and memorable one.

I prefer the first one, especially if it's for business.

I'm not 100% sure on this but is there anything stopping you using both and just redirecting the one (say #2) to the other (#1)?

I actually think the first domain will do better. Just make sure your logo or the way you portray your site always refers back to your mlig.com domain.

ie. Your logo for your site should be mlig.com and then maybe under it have a small phrase like: "My Logo Is Great"

If you go with the first domain, make sure you also start calling your site MLIG instead of My Logo Is Great.

Out of them I'd go for the first one, it's much easier to remember and is a lot shorter.

Indeed. In any case I suppose he will always be able to redirect the second one to the first one instead.

For me I would go for #1 short and easy to remember.

I would stick to #1 considering the fact that all LLLL.coms are taken.

First domain name is shorter. I think everyone wants have as short as possible domain name. So you can use it.

the second will be good if you develop ad campaign and build brand awareness on offline ads. however you need more money to do this.
The second one could be good also for SEO. There is a chance people will remember this because this is meaningful domain name.
The first one is good only for online business. It would be better if you shorten this domain into 2 letters. 4 letters is hard to remember and this is not meaningful domain name.

Actually that is possible to develop various domain names as various web sites. and then combine them into one.

The domain name is shorter and well for business it easy for type so i vote for 1.
