Can anyone tell sub domains are good or not?

Good for what? If you are thinking about them according to SEO purpose they will be diffrent domain names. So be aware.

Sub domains are addressed by Google just like a regular domain.......
You do not get any extra from the domain...

For example XYZ.com ranks (SERP) #1 ABC.XYZ.com will or should not also be #1...
But you can get good keyword coverage with a sub.....

Amazon.XYZ.com would probably rank high...but woulds also get you sued.....

hi if the domain is urs then its ok but if ur site is like urdomainname.otherdomain.com then when ever u do link building to ur subdomain the PR juice will go to the otherdomain and not urs.

ALL 'www' names are subdomains.

I don't use sub.domains anymore, I prefer to use fold/ers, I think they look better

Sub domains are important , it depend upon main domain as well

I think sub-domains can be handy and can open the door to new possibilities.....

If you have developed a good brand for a domain ....it can give creditability to a new site....

subdomains are good for personal blogs only

According to my knowledge search engine spiders are not allow to crawl sub domain.seo wise It useless.

Search engines...that have crawlers will treat subs just the same....

Yeah correct some can be good, i find them still ok depending on what your site consists of to be honest i know people say it can make a massive difference with your own domain, it makes it easier to remember and things i suppose, whats the site for if you dont mind me asking?

every regional site at craigslist.

That is does not matter whatever you use domain name or sub domain name. Both are considered as if they are domain names.
