Has anyone any experience of buying a premium domain from one of those "Domain Management" companies who buy up interesting domains and offer to sell them if the price is right?
My company owns the domains that reflect our company name - all except the .com - which is owned by one of these companies.
There is no website on it - but the WHOIS gives details of the owner.
They invite you to make an offer but don't give any clues as to what kind of figure they're looking for.
This domain is useless to anyone except my company as it's not even a real word - nobody could ever possibly want it.
Anyone offer any advice? Ideally I don't want to pay thousands for the domain - because my brand isn't big enough to warrant that yet - but I want to complete the portfolio.
