Hello all, I am new to the forum and am here because something strange is happening. I forgot to renew a domain (which is forwarded to another site) it expired and now when I typed certain keywords and that domain shows in the search results the description of the site is not what I put in the html header code.. it says "NOTICE: This domain name expired on 03/16/2010 and is pending renewal or deletion. GoDaddy.com Today's offers at GoDaddy.com. This web page is parked FREE, ..." I went to godaddy's domain manager and looked at the masking of the forwarding and it is a correct description of the site. Has anyone else had this problem before or know how to correct this? Thanks, Josh

Once you let the domain drop, the hosting will have dropped and the redirect with it and Google crawled the parking page.

If you have re-registered it and put the redirect back on (which should be a 301 but sounds like it was a 302), it should be rectified when the site has been indexed again.

I have no idea if that would be possible at all to negotiate with godaddy about that but I think that worth to contact them and ask for the help

It can take up to 3 months. Various data centers update date in different times so it's gonna take a while.
