Hello there, personally, I think you should do several months of marketing before you even consider choosing a name.
Running a business is about making as much money as you possibly can. The best way to do that is to niche in such a way that your niche gives you a competive advantage allowing you to charge more.
For example;
WeBuildWebsites, vs WebsitesForProfessionals, vs WebsitesForMovieStars
1st
You will have an easy time selling to everyone, but your margins will be smaller and you will have to work on volume. This affects your product and quality of service.
2nd
You will have a whole lot easier time selling to professionals. You will then be able to focus your energies on website technologies that are specifically for professionals. This helps in several ways. a) you have to do less work b) your product is actually better for profressionals than a generic one is c) you can charge more because of it
3rd
You will have a whole lot easier time selling to movie stars
Again, same advantages of the 2nd name. But....movie stars have a lot of money (the successful ones anyway). So what you have to do is do some research and see who isn't doing either market and decide what is more profitable....
Only then can you choose a business name...
Dig?
(Wish I new this before I chose my business name )
