Yep playing on the infinity symbol could work and get a brand, a logo and a "strap line" all in one go.

something like

Hobbs Cretive - A world of infinite possibilities

Maybe trying to get your whole name in the site name is a mistake. Go for an easy to recall portion of your name. Think about a couple of the examples I provide and then spin them because if I mange to post something really good it will be gone before you have time to reg it.

One additional warning, if you check and it is available, even if it is your second choice buy it right then because there are people who watch the searches and register the best of what they see. Wasting $10 for a name you don't use is better than losing the one you really wanted.

I'm not going to try to sell this to you but I own dezigntyme.com, it's a good name for what you want.

You could also try something unique, like an alias such as agento.com or molamola.com molamola sounds like a dumb name maybe but it has the echo effect and any name is brandable... I mean any name if you brand it just right.

Justin you are truly a word dabbler. Maybe you SHOULD try taking up development. You've got the underlying creativity required to do it well.

It is really a question. When i am thinking my domain name of my website, it cost me much time to find out a relative name which it not taken.
Firstly, what is your website for? If that is for sales, you should make a domain name with your product keywords.

Hello there, personally, I think you should do several months of marketing before you even consider choosing a name.

Running a business is about making as much money as you possibly can. The best way to do that is to niche in such a way that your niche gives you a competive advantage allowing you to charge more.

For example;
WeBuildWebsites, vs WebsitesForProfessionals, vs WebsitesForMovieStars

1st
You will have an easy time selling to everyone, but your margins will be smaller and you will have to work on volume. This affects your product and quality of service.

2nd
You will have a whole lot easier time selling to professionals. You will then be able to focus your energies on website technologies that are specifically for professionals. This helps in several ways. a) you have to do less work b) your product is actually better for profressionals than a generic one is c) you can charge more because of it

3rd
You will have a whole lot easier time selling to movie stars
Again, same advantages of the 2nd name. But....movie stars have a lot of money (the successful ones anyway). So what you have to do is do some research and see who isn't doing either market and decide what is more profitable....

Only then can you choose a business name...

Dig?

(Wish I new this before I chose my business name )

Just try to make your domain short and descriptive - you can also change letters or use hyphens in it.

A word dabbler huh? Development requires too much coding for me, I'm a visual person.

If there is no link between your web site name and domain name I suppose that is not good idea and mostly time wasting. IMO.
