Does anyone know how to find the owner that has a domain with Ownership Protection?
Some one told me that he found something like this because in the time between registration and enabling the protection ownership the details are available and records are being made.

That wasn't the question.

And the answer is ....

You can't. That's the general idea of "domain privacy"/"Ownership protection"

Yes .. No way of knowing the owner of whois protected site. You can email the administrator email in whois and it will routed to domain owner and ask them about their info.

Well, I suppose that it will be reasonable to contact Registrar directly and ask about this.

The registrar won't give it without a court order, in most cases.

You are right here, I know sibername provides that for sure.
I think that's one more advantage of using domain registration services from the domain registrar and means they provide a good care of their customers.
Just my point of view.

one of my domains name (at godaddy) has 3 addtional icon, which makes me paying more expensive for that every year. -_- at first im just trying. zzzzz

they named it :
1. Protected registration
2. Private Registration
3. Business registration.

i have no idea at all for benefit for no 1 and 3.
last time im asking them to removed those service from my domain and they forward me somewhere else site (i forgot where)
and then that site asking copy of my personal ID. which of course i refuse to send them. why need copy of my personal data when i logged and use PIN and password and email and etc that proved its mine. -_- weird.
ok i know its security reason bla bla bla...i just not happy to give away copy of my personal ID and not happy for paying too much for that ZzzZz.
no usefull for me tho.

till now..that domain cost me so much expensive other than regular domain, yearly so lame.

anyway..just make sure you pick the right additional product for your domain, or dont buy if you think you dont need it because they will cost u much!!
*shrug*~~

Yeah, but not all Registrars provide really good support for their customers.

The best thing to know this is to contact the Registrar directly and see how helpful and knowledgeable their support is.
