I have a domain I want to get rid of but how do I

Determine its value

Also if it sold how do I transfer it from been mine to someone elses?

Here or on ebay with a notice here seems to be a good method. Others have used some of the selling services.

Value is alway in the eye of the buyer. A 3-4 letter domain or common word you might want to get an apprasial; otherwise it is worth what someone will pay.

Try Sedo. They sell appraisals and its free to list your domain for sale there.

I'm gonna try sell just by an auction but not through Sedo as they charge too much.

Sedo is free dude unless you sell.

don't buy a co.uk name because coms are better.
No matter what the search engines officially say .coms do better internationally then local country urls.

Agree with you here. Anyway it's better to use .com, it has more value than any others.
