Want To Change Site But Stuck With Domain Name

As my website Earn Money Home Business has not been very successful so far, I am now contemplating changing it to another type of site. However, the problem is that I am stuck with the domain name www.earnmoneyhomebusiness for TWO years, so even if I change the title to another subject, it will not be commensurate with the domain name.

Any suggestions? I don't want to continue with a website that is getting only 1 visitor per day - and sometimes not even that!!

Thanks,
The Webmaster

Buy another domain name and park or sell the one you have now.

Your Host likely will change the account for little or no charge. All you lose is the cost of a new domain. That would be a whopping $14.40 for two years if you use the coupon at Godaddys.

So that means I just buy another domain name from my hosting provider - from whom I have bought the package - and point it at my existing web space. Can I do that?

I am with Hostright UK.

Yes, you can.

But don't point it. Use a 301 redirect to go from your old domain to your new one.

You can also buy the domain through GoDaddy as colbyt said. That's a smart move. If you ever get pissed off with your hosting company, they have no control over it. NEVER buy a domain name from a hosting company.
