Would like some advice regarding a site name please

I payed for a domain name to be protected for me, for 3 years, it was about 18 months ago , but the thing is i forgot where/which online company i used to protect it.
So what i would like to know is how do i find my domain name so that i can now use it.

Well you can go here and type the domain name into the Whois box which is the third or fourth one down on the left hand side.

This will verify that it is registered and who the registar is.

Then you have to come up with a user name and password or otherwise work it out to prove that you are the person who registered the domain

This is a much easier tool to use. The company listed as "Registrar" or "Registered By" is the company that registered it on your behalf.
