I am planning to set up a web host site but my domain prices are not very good. The domains I can offer are

.org.uk
.com
.net
.org
.info
.biz
.name
.tv
.mobi
.eu

What prices would you like to see them as?? I need some feedback to see if my prices can be changed a bit. Please post prices within reason. Prices preferred in £ Sterling but I can convert so Im not that bothered. Thanks.

Have you looked around to see what other people are charging. You're going to want to set prices that are competitive so the best place to start would be to see what your competitors are charging.

prices on godaddy with coupon!

prices are not what matters to alot off people, if you can provide a better service than all the others. 90% off the people would pay that little bit extra becuase you can offer the service better than the rest!!

i know a couple off people that charge £45 for a .co.uk & domain £55 for a .com and they get alot off customers. purely becuase theyre a professional business and can offer more help and a better service to there clients.

Agreed with Scott. You're not going to compete on price with the volume sellers. But you can offer something the big boys can't and that's a more personable service.

I personaly had my last registrar disapearing without notice, and changing whois record of several domains in the process.
I just have recovered them, after threatening the main registrar from legal complaint.
But it took 3 weeks, phoning, asking, trying to get reply and informations about that.

I have to say that now, even if a pay my domains 30% more than before, at least I'm certain the person on the other end are reliable.
