If you don't know how to sell domain names then why are you starting a business? It's a little like putting the cart before the horse. There's probably tons of literature on this topic on the Internet. I'd suggest running a search on Google. I hope it works out for you.

i suggest you do a bit off reasearch before deciding to do this.

first off all you need a reseller account i recommend http://www.registerfly.com/

then you need to purchase a billing system either www.whmcs.com, www.clientexec.com or www.modermbill.com i would recommend www.whmcs.com as its easy to use

you then need to intergrate the reseller account and the billing software together

then you need to design the website and intergrate the billing system into the website.

and then your sorted!!

if you need any help i can do the intergrations for you but will be costly!!

u need to find a webhost who has a reseller option. then they'll provide you with all the tools you need dude.

Tfusion, i would also like to add the facility to buy domains to my site and would like to know how to do it myself, but dont have a clue! lol.

There is no money to be made in this. Your wholesale price will be more than the big boys sell them for at retail. You will not have control of the domains and will be at the mercy of the supplier and should anything go wrong you will still get all the blame.

After all that, an honest 6 year perspective, if you still want some names I will look at my bookmarks for the two of you.

Do they ever get sold at Ebay? I have never tried selling at Ebay before, how is the security there? Will my CC number be safe with Ebay? You need to give them your CC number in order to start selling anything...

Finance is handled by paypal not ebay itself so paypal is entrusted with your cc, they are fully inspected and have to use encryption etc, quite safe...

i forgot the site, but you type in your domain and they give you an aprasial (estimate price of the domain). Then I would sell at sedo.com if it is really that good.

there are many problems with registerfly, even eNom terminates registerfly as their reseller...

Tfusion – before starting any business you should know the basics of it to achieve what you are aiming for. It will be much better to get some online tutorials which explain you the in’s and out’s of the business in detail.
Just starting a business without having the basic knowledge of it will simply land you and your business in trouble.
