Hi guys, before creating this thread i have looked at other forums etc for the same problem.. and i have come up with lots of results...

my story:

i used to register my domains with registerfly and everything was going good until recently...

I paid and started a transfer to registerfly, it was in the process of being transfered into my account, i could even see it in active transfer, i have just gone bk into my account and it says i no longer have any actice transferes, the domain hasnt been added to my account and yet the money has been taken.

I also went to register a domain the other day, and i added funds to my account to pay for it, started to register it, added my details, went through checkout etc and it said it was in process, i had an e-mail bk saying it was failed, i left it two days before going into my account, went bk into my account and saw the funds still credited to my account, went to register that domain and that day it had been registered by someone else, they registered through a domain proxy website so i dnt know who registered it. The domain was really long and stupid and no 1 i tell you could have thought about it, i didnt tell anyone about it or anything like that.......... but yet someone rgeistered it, i left it another 5 days and then came up with another domain to register, logged bk into my account and oh dear oh dear, the funds have gone...... they have not been refunded to my paypal account or anything of that nature.....

- a few days ago i went bk on again.. and the same thing above happend to me again. ^

i dnt understand , i have a firewall and latest antivirus software so why is it that someone is watching me int he domains that i buy, fails them and then registers them for themselves........weirdddd

there's another domain i want, i have just started to process it again with registerfly.... i'll keep this thread updated with the result.

They are very famous for their lack of service.
Some times their special pricing & copuns are good.
But I am switching my domains away from them

Yeah, I have heard of nightmarish problems with registerfly.
They actually used to be a reseller for enom, and apparently they must have ruffled their feathers also, because

Quote:
eNom terminates RegisterFly as an eNom reseller
Feb 6, 2007 close As of February 6, 2007, eNom, Inc. terminated RegisterFly, Inc. as an eNom reseller. RegisterFly will continue to have reseller access for thirty days to resolve any outstanding issues. For any pending customer support issues concerning Registerfly, please contact them directly. If you have any questions regarding eNom products or services, please contact eNom directly.
Which probably explains your current issue

eNom itself offers to "Push" your domain from RegisterFly when you signup at eNom, but is paid membership About $5 or $6 was the less spent.

Do not use them. I have a horror story as well. You can tell by my forum name. They took my money now they do not answer the phone, respond to emails or to their open tickets. I tried to transfer my domain back to them to keep it with my hosting. But I could not do it through the system so I read the fine print and it said to call or email. Did both no results. Now I lost my domain and they took the money for the hosting, and I have no domain.

They suck, do not use them.

For all of you with "locked" domains on RegisterFly. The latest news from ICANN: http://www.icann.org/announcements/a...nt-17apr07.htm

I used to use them all the time and then I started having problems. I had money in my credit then it goes missing. then I register a domain name and then it only to see it registered to someone else. all kinds of problems now I'm just trying to transfer my remaining domain name out of registerfly.
