I saw .info domain name is very cheap now in godaddy. Does any one know what the problem with .info domain name?

Excuse the off-topic rambling, but this reminds me of something a pizza parlor owner once told me. This guy had been in the business for nigh on twenty years, during which time he discovered over and over again that you can't sell pizza too cheaply, - "because everyone will always assume there's something wrong with it."

It can't be too high and it can't be too low... Sort of like Goldilocks and the Three Bears - everyone wants the one that is just right.

May be this will be next .com

I see no problem with .info domains. They list in google just like .com domains...

I think it depends on what it looks like, i mean like i prefer .com because it looks cooler than .info xD.

doesnt dotster give .info for just $0.77 lol, its gotten very cheap these days but still good i have a few myself

Same here, I am trying to get my .info domain to be a PR3. Its on its way!

.info looks cheap and every one tries to see something.com instead of something.info .. i think that was a promo offer just to promote the .info domain name and now its closed.

I have many .info domain name but my site is slowly indexed by search engines.

Nothing wrong with .info. If you making information sites they are the best. Sadly that under 1 USD promo was over. Google as nothing against .info if you use right techniques they get index same way as .com's.
