Did you recently change the nameservers? I have had that problem before and it went away in about a week. I would suggest just giving it a bit of time and trying again.

Also where is y our domain parked, godaddy?

Thanks for the response. I changed servers like a month ago. I decided to go in cpanel and redirect my site w/ the www. in front to my site w/ out the www. in front. Its working so far.

Usually this is caused by a server misconfiguration. Both www. and non-www have to be included in the host headers.

It is also, in theory, possible to have two sites hosted on the non-www and www versions (I believe phpICalendar does this, for example.) However, this is a longshot.

I'm fairly sure it is a nameserver problem - I had the same for a while and it got worse that I couldn't even access the non-www one either. I contacted my hosts who said I'd misconfigured the private nameservers, and they sorted the problem out for me.

You should be able to use a .htaccess file to automatically drop the "www" from your URL. I'm not sure as I've never had this problem (someone please correct me if Im wrong).

Make a file called ".htaccess".

Insert the following code into the file:

Code:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www\.example\.com$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://example.com/$1 [R=301,L]
(changing example.com to your domain in both lines.)

Upload the .htaccess file to your root directory.

Hopefully that will catch any visitors who do include the www in the domain. If another user could confirm this that would be great

You nead to check the your nameservers are pointing to the same ip

eg;

ns1.hostinglimo.com ***.***.***.123
ns2.hostinglimo.com ***.***.***.124

As this prob means that one ns is set to the right server but the other is not you can check your dsn here http://member.dnsstuff.com/pages/dnsreport.php this will tell you if both ns1/2 are right
