How can I change my host service
I have domain name .com
I want to change the host service . I lost my password for this
Now the site is hosting with one host company. I told them that i want to change the host service but they telling me that they dont know the password. Are the host company host the site wen they dont know the password.
OR from where can i get information for lost passwords

Hi DreX,

Did you register the domain, or did they register the domain? If they registered the domain, then there really is no way you can change hosting services, as they have full ownership to your domain.

If you registered the domain, then it is your responsibility to remember the password. You can try asking the domain registrar to provide you with your password again, but if they refuse, then you really have no choice but to wait until your domain expires and reregister it. If you get the password back, login to your account, change the nameservers to your new host (or they might be able to do it for you), ask your host to set up an account under that domain, and you're all ready to go!
