Domain Names for Sale

Hello,

I was referred here by a friend that has sold a couple of websites. She said you were all very fair with her... so here goes.

I have a domain name for sale. Right now it is hooked to an affiliate store front that I really dont want to take down...especially during the week of Super Bowl. So I asked how to handle this before posting. I was told to list it as follows

GoNewEnglandPatriots(dot)com is the DOMAIN name for sale. Sale price is $1,000 USD.

The domain is pretty long, I don't think its worth 1,000 dollars. Does it get any direct hits?

I just put it live less than one week ago. According to my affiliate program that its linked to I have 96 hits in 4 days. That does not account for any hits that have been tracked from this forum and one other forum.

I have done no advertising at all at this point with the domain name. I would assume that would make those "accidental hits".
