Hi, I'm looking for a working business partner who (preferably) already has an online retail / wholesale store and is looking to expand.

I am hoping to provide capital and services to someone who has already laid the groundwork for an online company, but has perhaps hit a plateau. As many business owners and potential owners come to this site to get advice, I thought it may be a good place to start.

If you have a business (online or not) with the potential to grow, I am willing to provide my capital, experience, services and advice in order to facilitate that goal. If this may be of interest to you or the owner of your organization, please leave a note or a private message.

Sincerely
Josh

Yo yo yo, slow your roll there, homeslice.

I may have missed something, but this is how I interpreted what you just said:

1) You work for an e-commerce company managing what would presumably be customer websites.

2) You want to manage customer websites on the side and seemingly take an ownership stake in those sites, thus creating a likely conflict of interest at some point between the sites you manage on the side and those you manage for the company (two competitors in the same e-commerce niche is well within the realm of possibility here.)

If that's the case...wow. I'm sorry, but that's a formula where someone is destined to get screwed in some form or fashion (likely the company you work for and its customers).

Let's look at it like this... I currently have multiple clients in the automotive industry, some selling the same parts. So yes, I help them compete against one another in full disclosure. I'm sure you also have multiple clients in the same industry, no?

But I read that you don't have time to do that? For hundreds of clients no less?

OK, I can see we're going to play bash the messenger...

1. I do not have the ability to earn ownership with the clients I manage (unless I was hired away).
2. I do not want to spend the rest of my life working for someone else.
3. I cannot spend 9-5 shipping packages or making calls during start-up because I'm at work.
4. I can spend my evenings and weekends doing development, design, managing PPC and maintaining a site.
5. Did I forget to mention my experience and capital or did you just not want to read that part?

Now, if you could, please try to be constructive, or please try not to be. You are wasting both our time.
