please be honest, don't recommend a company you work for..
I would like to send one advertisement email to a huge number of people in a specific country.

Is there a legal way to acquire legally a list of emails to which I can send my mail?

is there a company you know which is trustworthy that can send my mail to its opt-in people? yahoogroups? google-groups? facebook?

is there anyway to get a 3rd party totally independent company to monitor the number of emails sent?

There are simply too many offers .... and I have no idea whatsoever who should be trusted.

What do you need these emails for? Few people actually want promotions and adverts in their emails - if you want anything legal, then I'd guess the person on the other end would be getting paid to read the email.

to be honest with you, email marketing doesnt work any more. people assume emails offering deals or products is spam, and normally instantly delete it without reading up on your offer.

you would be much better off in spending your money on a PPC advertising campaign, or some SEO work to your site, to get some natural one way links pointing at your site.

my original intent was to send an email simply to expose my case without any offer, promotion, and not even a link to my website.

1) I and I think most people, because of the onslaught of spam, don't open unsolicited emails anymore.

2) If you don't offer anything in the email, why would you want to spend a bunch of money to send it?

What exactly is a "case" anyway? This sounds like "some company screwed me over, so I'm going to email-blast a bunch of people looking for sympathy." It would certainly explain why you don't want a link to your website or any promotional type of stuff.

As far as mailing lists go, the reason you don't know who to trust is because there is almost no one that you can trust in that field. I won't say no one because there may be some obscure company out there somewhere that gathers emails legitimately, but the ones I've come across all harvest them from web pages where they're openly published and from ISPs (at least one major ISP in Toronto sells their subscriber list).

If your site is that worthy, the best thing you can do is to build it, tell the right people about it, and let organic word-of-mouth take over. Good sites have a habit of drawing traffic from sources they've never even heard of or have had anything to do with before.

I delete any email that isn't from a personal friend on sight.

You would do a lot better by opening a free blog account at somewhere like blogger.com - use the blog to write about your story - if it interests people other bloggers will link to your blog and you will get exposue that way.

yet I am looking for some fast exposure of my case, thus, thought of the advertisement....
