I'm currently working on a college project and was wondering if anyone out there could help me with a few questions I have about the web design industry. My project involves carrying out some SWOT analysis on a business idea so I'd like to find out what sort of costs a web design business would typically incur. I know there wouldn't be many (if any) stock costs and that there would be the usual staff salary payments but a list of typical costs would be great if anyone has one.
The other question is about "strategic space". If someone was to go about setting up a web design company (or if anyone here has done so, they might already know this!) what would be the strategic steps taken to ensure the company has the best chance of survival in the market? What connections should be made, what would be the best choice of location for offices, etc.
So if anyone has anything to contribute, I'd really appreciate the feedback! Thanks a lot.
