im a relative newbie so this may be a a matter of just not knowing what to look for.

I want to distribute an ebook from my site. I will write it and convert it to PDF. what i do not know how to do is create the ability for the "buyer" to submit the various information i want such as name and email (maybe payment) and then have the book automatically provided as a download. This is so common i thought i woudl find information all over the web but im afraid i may not know what this process is called and therefore am using the wrong words.

Any help would be appreciated

it's called a shopping cart or catalogue site

Or you can simply create a PayPal button for a single item
