Does anyone know where I can get something like PHP-Coin but better and for free? If anyone know please post it down here. I'm starting up a host and need an billing system.

PHP-Coin is free unless you want to pay a license to remove the "Powered by " text.

Dominic I looked at a lot of billing managers when I started my site and I looked at a lot of them when I helped someone else start a similar site.

Free options weren't particularly good. A billing manager is something worth spending money on. There are good ones for $150 and less, which isn't a lot to spend on a business.

Otherwise PHP-Coin or coding your own are probably the best options.

Maybe the market has changed a lot in the last couple of years, but when I looked free wasn't the best option.

PHP COIN is the only free one I know of

If you have the money, buying or leasing a Modernbill or Clientexec license is the best option

Thats a step above me, I didnt realize any were free anymore. CE is well worth the price, avoid Lpanel at all cost' - the issues with it are not worth the $ you pay for it.

I remember looking at Lpanel and at first thought it might be a good choice, but something turned me away. Modernbill was more than I wanted to pay and it seemed too complicated for my needs. A lot of people say that once you get past the initial setup it's much less complicated and is feature rich.

I also looked into WHM Authopilot, which is the billing manager we settled on for my client. It seems pretty good.

I ended up with ClientExec. I think it was a little less expensive than WHM Autopilot when I bought it. I also sent out a few questions to the support of several different companies and the people at ClientExec were the only ones to get back to me. After a couple weeks getting used to it I've been pretty happy with it.

I integrated the PayPal shopping cart for my web hosting service [hosting-q.com]. I do not have a lot of clients-- however, it is free. I pay PayPal fees when clients submit payments.

Hi, there are many good applications like PHP-Coin but for that you have to pay or have to take key license. If you can pay then let me know I will tell you abut a good one.
