What are some of the methods of generating pay per visit type of revenue in a vBulliten forum without uglying it up too much?

I dont have a forum yet, but I am right now looking into creating one, it would be my first site with a paid host, etc. So I think once I start it I will be doing a lot. I want it to be a forum with my local metropolitan area as its focus. I think vBulletin would be the easiest way to start one up. obviously idk how to do anything with a host yet or how vbulletin works. But Im sure I could try to figure it out. Everything I hear is that its easy to set up. Is it? How do I select a domain? I figured godaddy.com would work but do they host it too? or just sell you the domain?

I was thinkin about getting a packaged deal. Do I need that? If I do and all I want to put on it is a forum then which package do I select?

How hard is it to get vBulliten working anyway? I'm not a coder but I am able to use PCs well.

urrrm i suggest you read up about hosting and domains and cpanel before doing anything

vbulletin is very easy to use and if you want i will set it up on your host for you

godaddy is probably not the best option hosting wise but i can suggest hostgator to you but everyone will say different hosts are better etc
