So here's our situation:

Our company is trying to:

Sell one DVD
Sell one book
Sell one DVD book bundle
Sell a pay-per-view option for the same film (also available in that DVD format) that would be watched exclusively online (like thesecret.tv)

What e-commerce "process" would you recommend us, and who do you think we should use to deliver the video content?

Things to keep in mind:
- we want to try to protect the film content online to prevent piracy
- we are trying to keep the process as simple as possible for the user
- we are expecting about 500 viewers in the first month

Password protection is the simplest option for piracy prevention.

There's also Microsoft DRM, but that would limit the video format to .wmv, and I don't believe it would be usable by people with Mac's. It's the best way to protect your content though, you can use it to setup licensing rules for PPV. Just remember nothing is full proof, if you can see it, you can steal it.

.. And I just noticed they still have us listed as DRM Networks, eek! Need get that changed.
