My web site defendmax.com is receiving 1400 visitors a month, mainly thru search engines. My abandoned shopping cart rate is 97%, clearly something is wrong. I use Voulsion shopping cart and they have a one page check out. I would appreciate if I can get some honest feedback why my abandoned cart rate is so high. The "add to cart" buttons are text links, so bots will be crawling the links and adding items to the cart that they have absolutely no intention of buying.

Check your server logs for bots hitting /shoppingcart.asp

What's your overall conversion rate in spite of the shopping cart abandonment? Just asking because a 3% conversion rate would actually decent in some markets.
