Hello everyone, I am very excited because I just received my registration documents and I finally have my WOE!!! I’m just a bit confused with some taxes issues. I don’t know if I should pay income tax in January, which is when the fiscal year starts or in October 2009, which is when my company is 1 year old. Please help me figure this out, thanks!

Call an accountant..

In many cases you can use an annual year but you can certainly set your company up on a non calendar year schedule.. It's just confusing and not really worth the effort for a one man shop..

Also, you should be paying taxes "quarterly" not annually.. Depending on your location and local tax laws etc etc etc.. But if you are supposed to be filing quarterly and file annually, expect to pay penalties and fines..

Call an accountant..
