Hi all, I have been looking for a shop package for free up to a reasonable price that is great to handle a full store (such as CubeCart etc...), but with the option of "buy now"/"add to order" style buttons, so that a few can be inserted in some step-by-step build you purchase pages. Has anyone found much for "buy now" other than Paypal?

I have been looking at RomanCart, but it does not feature the full store features. Thanks in advance.

It's not quite clear how you'd like this to work - would you like just to insert buttons on external pages, or is it something more complex? Do you have any specific requirements? There might be a number of suitable solutions - for example, check out X-Cart, it is likely to work for you.

Thanks for the links. I had found a lot of packages to handle a complete store with large numbers of products, but was looking for a budget/free store, which on top of this has "buy now" and "add to cart" buttons so that you can add products to your cart anywhere in your site.

For example you may have the shop on: www.mysite.co.uk/shop/

And then I would be looking to use the "add to cart" on a few specific pages on www.site.co.uk.

Please let me know if that is any clearer and I appreciate the comments.

I think I know what you mean now. I believe you are better off just getting a PayPal account. They will then give you a small code you have to put where you want the "buy now" and "add to cart" buttons. This is the simplest form I can think of plus most people trust PayPal.
